Martin Vavruš
It’s been 20 years since Martin Vavruš joined Vetropack Nemšová. He began his journey at the company as a Hot End Workshop Specialist, where he was responsible for repairing glass manufacturing machines and ensuring their reliable operation.
As time passed, he took on various roles in production, gradually gaining a comprehensive understanding of the entire IS machine process. His responsibilities included changing mould equipment, machine setup, working with feeders and other machine components. Step by step, he gained experience and got broader perspective on how every part of the production fits together. It’s not surprising that it led him to the position of Hot End Workshop Teamleader. Today, in addition to the technical aspects of production, he is responsible for work organisation, problem-solving, and communication with colleagues across different departments.
"Every position I have held at Vetropack has given me new experience and helped me better understand how production works. What I enjoy most about my job today is that it is dynamic and, besides the technical side, it is also about communication and teamwork," says Martin.
During his time at Vetropack, he has learned to work more effectively under pressure, communicate more efficiently, and handle unexpected situations. He considers the opportunity to take on greater responsibility and contribute to team leadership as an important milestone in his career. In his view, the greatest progress does not happen overnight but comes gradually through daily experience and new challenges. His development has been supported by a combination of hands-on practice, guidance from experienced colleagues, and a willingness to continuously learn new things. He encourages other colleagues to stay proactive, not be afraid to ask questions, and take advantage of opportunities to gain new experience.
His story shows that growth at Vetropack comes step by step – through experience, responsibility, and the willingness to keep moving forward.
