We are seeking a strategic, customer‑focused Group Segment Manager in Kyjov (Czech Republic) to lead the marketing approach for selected segments and product hierarchies across the Vetropack Group. You will work closely with the Group Marketing Manager to develop segment‑ and product‑specific commercial initiatives that deliver a unified Group strategy while reflecting market differences.
In this role, you act as the segment’s business development expert — positioning our products toward customer marketing teams, shaping segment and product portfolios in alignment with our Business Units, and driving growth initiatives that contribute to profitable results. You will also serve as Vetropack’s internal expert on consumer demand and filling trends within your segment.
What you’ll do
- Build the Segment Marketing Plan (spirits and beer), delivering insights that support commercial decision making.
- Define and implement a group wide commercial approach, including portfolio optimization, standard range alignment, and sales support tools.
- Own the NPD and opportunity pipeline, ensuring transparency, data quality, and delivery against agreed targets.
- Develop compelling marketing materials aligned with corporate branding and communication guidelines.
- Work closely with Sales to prepare and present segment initiatives to customers, supporting value creation and market share growth.
- Strengthen cross functional collaboration and ensure consistent information flow at group level.
We’re looking for someone who has:
- Minimum 5 years of experience in a similar marketing, product, or segment role.
- Experience in the packaging or food & beverage industry.
- Strong understanding of product lifecycle processes and NPD.
- University degree (preferably in Marketing, Business, or a related field).
- Experience with digital tools (web, e‑catalogues), SAP, CRM tools and project/collaboration platforms.
- Excellent command of Czech or Slovak language
- Excellent command of English (C1); German or French is an advantage.
- Proactive, autonomous and cooperative approach.
- Strong negotiation skills.
- A willingness to travel (~10%) and who is comfortable with working in a cross‑functional and multicultural environment
