Viktoria Hubl has been part of the Vetropack team in Kremsmünster for around three years. She joined the plant as a sorter at the cold end and after just one year, her commitment and professional expertise earned her a promotion to forewoman. When the position of shift supervisor became vacant, her colleagues encouraged her to take on this new challenge.

Since 1st November 2025, Viktoria has been working as shift supervisor at the hot and cold end. In this role, she ensures smooth daily operations, coordinates shift staffing, acts as a central contact point for operational topics and supports communication between the hot and cold ends.

“It’s only when you step into the role that you realise how extensive and interesting this job really is. A lot happens behind the scenes and it requires a high degree of organisation, but that’s exactly what I enjoy about the job,” says Viktoria.

Originally trained as a hairdresser, Viktoria comes from a completely different professional background. After completing her apprenticeship, she quickly realised that her professional future lay elsewhere and eventually joined the production department of an industrial company as a packer. She was promoted to deputy foreman after about a year and remained in this role for a total of five years.

In 2023, she decided to move to Vetropack, partly because the working hours suited her better, and partly because of her family ties to the company. Her two brothers work at Vetropack on the production line, and one of them completed an apprenticeship as a glass process engineer at Vetropack.

Viktoria's journey to becoming a shift supervisor demonstrates how personal motivation and a supportive environment can come together to facilitate growth and development at Vetropack.
