Vetropack participates in new Swiss trade fair NovaFood

06.11.2025: We will be there! Next year, Vetropack will be exhibiting at the new NovaFood trade fair, which will serve as the meeting place for the food industry in Lucerne from October 26 to 27, 2026. Vetropack will also be returning to GLUG – the central platform for brewers and beverage producers in Switzerland – on February 5 to 6.

NovaFood is the first trade fair for the Swiss food industry to bring together companies from across the entire value chain. The focus will be on topics such as sustainable and healthy nutrition, current consumer trends, the responsible use of resources, future protein sources, and issues relating to hygiene and shelf life. Vetropack is among the first registered exhibitors at the new industry gathering in 2026. “We are delighted that NovaFood is creating a platform that strengthens exchange within the industry and provides space for key topics of the future. With our portfolio of glass bottles and glass packaging, we respond to precisely these trends and demonstrate how glass contributes to sustainable and safe food packaging,” comments Christine Arnet, Sales Director at Vetropack.

Prior to NovaFood, Vetropack will have another trade fair appearance in Switzerland – at GLUG in the Alte Reithalle Aarau. The event offers a unique platform for exchange between international suppliers and national customers. As in the previous year, the Vetropack team will focus on engaging with partners along the entire value chain to support the implementation of reusable solutions in Switzerland.

The thermally strengthened lightweight glass bottle plays a special role under the new brand name “Rezon” – a breakthrough in the industry. The bottle, which is up to 30 percent lighter while delivering high durability and a long lifespan, became the standard solution for the Austrian brewing industry in 2024. Several prestigious awards, including the WorldStar Award, the Austrian State Prize for Smart Packaging, and the Swiss Packaging Award, confirm the performance of this technology.
