Senior IT Application Consultant (SAP FI/CO)

Are you an experienced SAP FI/CO professional who enjoys combining technical expertise with business consulting?

We are looking for a Senior IT Application Consultant (SAP FI/CO) to join our ERP Center of Excellence.

In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring stable, efficient, and continuously improved SAP Finance and Controlling solutions while acting as a trusted partner between business stakeholders, IT teams, and external service providers.

Your Responsibilities

• Ensure stable, reliable, and high-performing SAP FI/CO application services.
• Analyze business processes and identify opportunities for optimization, standardization, and automation.
• Translate business requirements into sustainable, user-friendly, and cost-effective SAP solutions.
• Configure and customize SAP FI/CO solutions in line with business and technical requirements.
• Provide expert consulting and support for Finance, Controlling, and related business functions.
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex SAP application issues and coordinate problem resolution.
• Drive SAP FI/CO improvements, template enhancements, harmonization initiatives, system rollouts, and major change projects.
• Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams and ensure seamless integration with SAP MM, SD, and other SAP modules.
• Ensure compliance with internal controls, IT governance, change management, and ERP CoE standards.

Your Profile

• A Master's degree is required, preferably in Information Technology, Business Informatics, Computer Science, Finance, or a related field.
• At least 5 years of experience in a comparable SAP FI/CO role.
• Experience with SAP S/4HANA Finance.
• Good understanding of SAP change and transport management.
• Experience with SAP integration, particularly with MM and SD modules.
• Knowledge of SAP Fiori, SAP GUI, authorization concepts, and interfaces (IDocs, RFCs, APIs).
• Excellent English communication skills, both written and spoken.
• German language skills are considered an advantage.
