Ad hoc press release in accordance with Art. 53 of the Listing Rules – Vetropack Group: Board of Directors appoints Stephen Rayment as new Chief Supply Chain Officer at Group level

17.11.2021: Bülach, 17 November 2021 – The Board of Directors of Vetropack Holding Ltd has appointed Stephen Rayment as the new group-wide Chief Supply Chain Officer with effect from 1 December 2021. He will also become a member of group management.

Stephen Rayment succeeds Michela Argirò, who left the Group after a short period for personal reasons on 7 November 2021. 

Over the last 20 or so years, Stephen Rayment, 52, has built and successfully managed international supply chain organisations on behalf of various Novartis companies. For the last three years, he has been the Leader of Global Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP), for a leading Speciality Chemical company headquartered in Switzerland. Among other things, he further developed the global S&OP process and was responsible for regional areas in Asia, Europe and the Americas. Thanks to his extensive experience, the Brit brings a strong and deep knowledge across industries and supply chain functionalities. His comprehensive understanding of the supply chain means, he knows exactly how to design an optimal supply chain and how to simplify and standardise processes.

Stephen Rayment studied Engineering & Manufacturing in the UK at Southampton Technical College and Solent University.  He is currently studying for a BSc (Honours) in Environmental Science with The Open University.
